Language Institute
Since its start Eurythmia, in addition to the kindergarten, it is also recognized for its strand of Language Institute – Teaching English. We were the first school in Porto specializing in teaching English to children from 3 years of age (Young Learners), and since then we have continued with classes in the Institute oriented to these ages, with teachers that have English as mother tongue. With great success in previous years, we confirm our certainty of the importance of learning a second language in childhood. This enhances intellectual development, creating at an early age the ability to speak other languages in the future. However, our institute is not only about teaching children, but it is also meant for young people and adults who want to learn or improve English, for whom we prepare for the Cambridge exams.
Our programs are structured according to the Cambridge program structure and are divided into 8 levels:
Nível 1 – Young Learners to level 8 – Proficiency.
The transition to the next level is done through continuous assessment. Once students are ready, and if that is their intention, they can also apply for the Cambridge exams at the end of each level. At each level we aim to develop the command of written and spoken English, through motivating and interesting classes for different ages.
We offer different possibilities of attendance according to the needs and ambitions of each student:
- We have group classes, divided according to each age group and student levels;
- For more specific needs, we offer the possibility of individual classes or Groups of two students;
- Upon request, we also offer individual lessons or two person groups of other languages (Portuguese, French, Spanish, German …);

- For individual classes / groups of 2 students / groups of 3 students, it requires the payment of a series of 4 hours that is not refundable in the case of withdrawal;
- Buying a series of 10 private lessons, groups of 2 and groups of 3 (or more) benefits from a 5% discount;
- The quarterly payment benefits from a discount of 5%;
- The annual payment benefits from a discount of 7%;
- In the case of the Young Learners 1 and 2 group classes (2 x / week), there is the possibility of frequency 1 x / week, obtaining in this option a discount of 30% in the amount of the monthly fee;
- Discounts are not cumulative;
- In the Institute of Languages are charged 9 tuitions;
- Monthly fees must be paid by the 8th of each month;
- There will be no deductions from tuition fees due to lack of attendance or interruptions in vacation periods;
- In case of dropping out of attendance, the parents must communicate in writing quarterly in advance;
